Erik & Emily had the most perfect day for an outdoor ceremony and barn reception at The Barn at Timber Pointe in Mundelein, IL. The air was comfortably warm and the sun was peaking behind the clouds as they said their "I do's" in front of family and friends. They so excitedly left the altar after being announced husband and wife and sealed it with a dip and kiss during their exit.
The reception was full of surprises as the couple choreographed not one, not two, but THREE dances. Erik's first dance with mom was one of a kind with baseball, football, and basketball included! In true performance style, he unexpectedly ripped off his sports uniform to reveal his tux and started slow dancing with mom. The amazement was audible as their guests watched on. Emily and her father also put on a delightful medley of song and dance that was high energy and engaging.
Guests partied the night away with an array of activities including hanging out around the small camp fire behind the barn, playing hacky sack, hanging out on the barn porch (so laid back and inviting), and of course dancing!
Congratulations Erik and Emily! Here is a look at some of the moments captured on their special day.
