While standing in front of the iconic Wrigley Field marquee, Cody was filled with anticipation while awaiting the big moment. Cody convinced Katherine to take some photos and wait around on the corner of Dutch & Doc's as the minutes led up to the reveal. Due to the construction at Wrigley, we had to improvise and take the photos from across the street from the marquee. Meanwhile, Katherine was wondering why Cody's had a desire to hang out on the corner in the cold. At the appointed time, the marquee read "Katherine, will you marry me?" and that's where I came in. Cody reached out to me about photographing this awesome marriage proposal. During the proposal, excitement and joy was all around us. The cars honked and their families cheered them on as they watched across the street. We then went across the street to the Cubby Bear for a champagne toast. It was honor to be a part of the very beginning of this next stage in their lives together. Here's a look at my favorite moments from Katherine and Cody's proposal.
