The Cardio Kidz Summer 2026 Series week 1 was this week in Arlington Heights, Illinois with young runners and their families gathering for another fun and energetic event.
Participants starting at two can run age appropriate races while building confidence and staying active. Cardio Kidz focuses on encouraging kids to stay active in a positive, community-centered environment. Each week gives runners the opportunity to set goals, track improvement, and celebrate personal accomplishments.
Week 1Â Highlights
Some of the featured activities included:
Preschool warm up with Rock 'N' Kids!
Grade school warm up with Brazil - 021 School of Jiu Jitsu
Arts and Crafts with Aneta's Art Classes
Apples and bananas with The Vision Project
Tambourine and maracas with Bach to Rock
Games and raffle with Dave & Buster's Schaumburg
Each race provides children the chance to build confidence while enjoying friendly, low-pressure competition.
